1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, or using the site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to access or purchase from our platform.
2. Product & Live Animal Listings
- Accuracy: We strive for accuracy in all product and livestock descriptions. However, images are for representation purposes only, and actual items may vary.
- Availability: Stock may vary due to season, supplier availability, and logistics. We reserve the right to cancel orders if an item becomes unavailable.
3. Live Animal Policy
- Health Guarantee: All live animals are quarantined and packed under optimal conditions. However, live arrival is not guaranteed unless:
- The recipient is available at the first delivery attempt.
- A complete unboxing video is submitted within 1 hour of delivery, clearly showing the packaging and the condition of the animal.
- Dead on Arrival (DOA) Claims:
- Must be accompanied by an uncut unboxing video.
- Store credit or replacement may be provided at our discretion.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
4. Shipping & Delivery
- Orders are shipped via third-party logistics providers.
- Live animals are shipped only when weather and temperature conditions are safe.
- We are not responsible for courier delays, mishandling, or incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
- Risk Acknowledgement: Customers accept the risks involved with shipping live animals.
5. Unboxing Video Requirement
Unboxing videos are mandatory for the following:
- Damaged or missing products
- DOA claims
- Warranty or return disputes
Note: The video must be continuous, unedited, and clearly show the product, packaging, and shipping label.
6. Returns & Refunds
- Live Fish: Non-returnable unless eligible under our DOA policy.
- Dry Goods: Returnable within 1 day if unopened and unused. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
- Customized or Special Orders: Not returnable or cancellable.
7. Billing & Account Information
You agree to provide accurate, current billing, shipping, and contact information. We may cancel orders that:
- Share billing/shipping details with known resellers
- Appear suspicious or fraudulent
We reserve the right to limit or refuse orders at our discretion.
8. Prohibited Use
You are prohibited from:
- Violating any laws
- Infringing on copyrights or trademarks
- Uploading malicious software
- Using the site for spam, phishing, or data harvesting
Violation may result in immediate termination of service and potential legal action.
9. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
- Injuries from improper product use (e.g., CO₂ cylinders, heaters, etc.)
- Incompatibility of livestock in tanks
- Delays or issues caused by third-party logistics
Our liability, if any, is limited to the value of the product purchased.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chennai Aquarium Pvt Ltd, its staff, and affiliates from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the website/app (text, images, logos, etc.) is the property of Chennai Aquarium Pvt Ltd and may not be reproduced without written permission.
12. Privacy Policy
Your data is protected under our ( PRIVACY POLICY ) https://www.chennaiaquarium.in/privacy-policy. Payment information is encrypted and securely processed. We do not sell or misuse your personal information.
13. Modification of Service & Prices
- Product pricing and availability are subject to change without notice.

All products and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind unless otherwise stated. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to our services.

We reserve the right to terminate your access if you breach any of these terms. Obligations incurred prior to termination remain enforceable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with disputes falling under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

18. Image Disclaimer
Please note that the images of fish, plants, and other products displayed on our website and mobile application are for illustrative purposes only.
